Description: | W. W. Norton & Company’s college division is seeking an intern to assist with editorial projects in the psychology department from September to December. The internship will offer experience in the editorial, emedia, and marketing aspects of textbook publishing. Responsibilities will include preparation of manuscripts and ancillary materials, researching market data, assisting with various elements of production, and other day-to-day administrative tasks. |
Length of Internship: | 3 months, 20 hours per week |
Requirements: | Candidates should have strong writing and communication skills, be detail-oriented and organized, be comfortable working independently in an office environment, and have an interest in learning more about textbook publishing. Coursework in psychology is a plus but not required. Pay is $8.00 an hour. Specific work hours are flexible, but interns are expected to work a total of 20 hours a week. |
