Company Name: W. W. NORTON & COMPANY
Description: The college division is seeking a winter/spring intern to assist in managing editorial production
for the upcoming digital editions of The Norton Anthology of American Literature. The intern will also assist with pre-production and post-production work on other literature projects, including the digital Norton Critical Editions.

This internship offers considerable project management and hands-on editorial experience. Responsibilities will vary, but will include helping check, traffic, and manage the digital
files and support materials. The intern will also assist with light proofreading, quality-assurance testing, and error reporting.
Length of Internship: 3 months, 20 hours per week
Requirements: Candidates should have excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro is preferred. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who is enthusiastic about these projects and about publishing in general.

This internship is for 3 days (20 hours total) per week and will begin in mid-January 2017.
Location: New York, NY
Payment: $11/hour
