Description: The Astronomy and Geology Digital Media team is seeking a highly motivated intern to assist the digital media editorial assistant with editorial and production tasks in developing, managing, and producing forthcoming media and digital products. Please note: NO specific knowledge of Astronomy and Geology is required!

The intern will work with the digital media team to produce online and electronic instructor and student resource materials. Responsibilities will include working with online material, formatting test questions, and assisting with all stages of the publishing process.

Length of Internship: 3 months, 20 hours per week
Requirements: The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, digitally savvy, organized and focused, willing to learn new programs and skills on the job, and, most importantly, excited about the great potential for the media side of textbook publishing. Knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office is required, and experience with Google spreadsheets is useful.

The internship is 3 or 4 days a week for three months, ideally starting January 9th. The specific work hours are flexible, but interns should be available to work 20 hours per week. Juniors, seniors, and recent graduates preferred.
Location: New York, NY
Payment: $11/hour
