| Description: | Mascot Books is a publishing company located in Herndon, Virginia. We are looking for assistance in the marketing department for May/June - August 2018. The position will include the following:
- Creating marketing materials - Managing social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, blog) - Developing marketing plans - Writing pitch emails - Working on special projects as needed |
| Length of Internship: | May/June - August 2018 (Fall 2018 internship opportunities also available) |
| Requirements: | - Highly organized and excellent time management
- Professional verbal and written communication - Ability to learn quickly and work independently - Undergraduate experience in English, Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field preferred - Proficiency with Excel, Word, and basic computer programs Must have transportation to the office. No Metro access. |
