Title:	Literary Agency Fall Intern
Description:	We are a full-service literary agency based in in New York City seeking juniors and seniors available for 5-10 hours a week from September through early December. Interns will be trained to evaluate query letters, review and offer editorial feedback on manuscripts and nonfiction proposals, manage databases, coordinate marketing and publicity efforts, provide basic administrative support, and become familiar with contracts and royalty statements. Our internships are paid, and we are happy to work with students to ensure that they receive credit from their schools. Ideal interns will be independent and detail-oriented workers who are proficient with Microsoft Office programs, adept at researching and writing, able to give keen editorial feedback, and passionate about books and getting an educational introduction to publishing. We have a casual office environment and are flexible about scheduling.
