Title:	Fall 2019 Internship - Maria Carvainis Agency
Description:	Intern needed for small, busy, established boutique literary agency with numerous New York Times Bestsellers. Primary responsibilities will include reading and evaluating query letters and manuscripts as well as general office assistance, such as mailings, filing, etc. Hours are flexible. This is an excellent opportunity for a soon-to-be or recent graduate interested in learning the details of the publishing process.
Requirements:	Ideal candidate will be a voracious reader with both office experience and a strong desire to learn about the publishing industry. Knowledge and interest in a wide variety of fiction, including the genres we represent, also helpful. Applicants must be able to commit to 20 hours a week for four months and work from our office in Midtown; this is NOT a remote position.
