Description: HarperCollins is currently looking for a full-time intern to work in an editorial capacity with the Publisher, Senior Editor, and Editorial Assistant. We are looking for a voracious reader who is tech savvy and familiar with social networking sites such as Twitter.

Intern tasks include:
• Reading submissions (fiction and non-fiction) and following up with readers reports
• Preparing author manuscripts, art, and other materials for transmittal to production
• Typing correspondence and memos
• Helping prepare sales and marketing materials
• Assisting our team as needed, including filing, photocopying, and mailings
• Doing internet research related to any of our titles and authors

Another important aspect of the Internship is to make full use of online promotion and viral marketing strategies.
Length of Internship: One Semester
Requirements: Applicant MUST be able to recieve college credit and be able to start as soon as possible.
