Description: Denise Marcil Literary Agency, Inc., a well-established literary agency located in the Flatiron District, seeks a responsible, extremely organized, well read, and enthusiastic intern with an interest in learning about the publishing industry.

Intern responsibilities are as follows: reading and evaluating manuscripts, vetting query letters, filing, tracking royalty statements, corresponding with authors and publishers, and general administrative duties.
Length of Internship: 3-5 months, depending on applicant's availability
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have prior office experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task. We are looking for someone who is confident in their reading ability, takes initiative, and is able to represent the agencies professionally.
