Description: Neuwirth & Associates, a design and book production studio, seeks a highly motivated intern to start immediately. Duties include proofreading, compiling and checking corrections, maintaining schedules and records, assisting with production and manufacturing tasks, and basic office responsibilities such as copying and filing. Interns have a great opportunity to learn about the book publishing process for a wide range of topics and genres.
Length of Internship: Spring Semester
Requirements: Must possess college-level understanding and use of English language, be detail-oriented, well-organized, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure. Proofreading and copy-editing skills are essential. Hours and dates in the office are flexible.
Location: New York, NY.
Payment: Local transportation costs.
