Description:	Diversion Books—an innovative, nonfiction print publisher—is seeking a Marketing / Publicity Intern for the Spring 2024 season. The Marketing / Publicity Intern should be a creative, quick-thinker with strong written and verbal skills, an understanding of social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter/X & Instagram, and should also be familiar with a broad range of media outlets including podcasts. The Marketing / Publicity Intern will assist with administrative tasks such as mailings & updating internal documents, posting on all social media platforms, regularly updating the company website and various publicity related research projects.This is an in- office position in our NYC midtown location.
Length of Internship:	3 Months
Requirements:	We are looking for applicants with strong written & verbal skills, great attention to detail and a keen interest in media of all forms. Continuous coursework or a major in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or English is preferred but not required.

Payment:	Two days a week, stipend $40/day.
