Requirements:
Position Description:

Macmillan Audio seeks a Marketing Associate to be involved in developing and implementing creative marketing efforts for a wide range of audiobooks. The role includes social media management, e-mail marketing responsibilities, and relationship building with authors and online retailers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for books, experience working on social media, be forward-thinking, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Major Responsibilities:

• Manage concept, development, and implementation of title specific marketing plans
• Execute social media and other online campaigns and advertising
• Strategize e-mail marketing with a focus on list growth and new list development
• Analyze results of campaigns and offer key learnings
• Act as a point of contact for digital retailers to promote audiobook titles
• Work closely with authors to support audiobook format
• Communicate with sister companies’ marketing departments and corporate digital marketing

Required Skills / Knowledge:

• Excellent communication, organization, and writing skills
• The ability to multitask and problem solve
• Ability to quickly learn and implement company tools and software
• Desire to take initiative and contribute in a collaborative work environment
• Social media management experience
• Familiarity with web tools including Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, and HTML
• Fluency in Microsoft Office products

Experience Needed:

• 2 years working in marketing or digital marketing, publishing experience a plus

Educational Background Required:

• College degree
