Reporting to the Digital and Audio Publisher (DAP), the DAA must be positive, motivated, and demonstrate a strong interest in digital and audio publishing. These are dynamic areas of publishing in which purchase models and markets change rapidly. The DAA must be able to work independently and have a good sense of when to escalate concerns.

The digital and audio team is responsible for the list development, production, delivery, and distribution of PUP’s digital publications. This is a new role for 2021 which will augment the digital and audio team in anticipation of continued digital growth for the Press.

The DAA will ensure consistent and efficient workflow across audio publishing and licensing and will work within the digital team to develop partnerships with our digital distributors. The DAA will be directly involved with title selection, casting, and scheduling of audio editions, and will manage admin relating to audio and ebooks within the department, including delivery and fulfilment of audio files, database management, invoicing and other necessary admin. The DAA will track and report on digital and audio revenue and trends using business intelligence analytics, and will provide high-level administrative support to the digital and audio publisher.

The DAA will work with the digital and audio team to communicate digital trends and requirements, and will help to communicate our digital strategy to key stakeholders, both within and outside the organization. This role has potential for growth and expansion for the successful candidate.
