Position Profile Bloomsbury seeks a highly organized sales manager to join our trade division. Become a decision-maker in both print and digital sales; work on a wide array of books from our Children’s and Adult lists; and be involved in the full book lifecycle. This is a dynamic role with opportunity for growth. Primary Responsibilities • Work closely with the VP of Sales, Marketing, and Publicity • Oversee our ebook sales program, working with ebook accounts to promote Bloomsbury’s books in the digital space from new releases to deep backlist • Communicate with our distribution partners at Macmillan about special projects and priorities • Provide reporting and sales insight to internal stakeholders |
Requirements: | • 3 to 5 years of experience
• Highly motivated and organized, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects • Strong work ethic and adherence to deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to break down and analyze sales data • Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP or similar, SUMIFS) • Experience in ebook sales and/or account management • Highly organized and communicative, and excited to learn about different aspects of the publishing industry |

Location: | Please note that, due to COVID-19, this position will be working from home until further notice. Upon office re-opening, this position will be subject to a hybrid work arrangement, with two days in the office required, and up to five if the candidate chooses. Candidates must reside in NY, NJ, CT , or PA and be able to commute to Bloomsbury USA’s New York City office full-time when the office re-opens. |
