| Description: | Scarsdale Publishing seeks experienced English to Spanish fiction editors for ongoing fiction projects. Editors must be self-starters who can work remotely and meet deadlines. Must have experience in editing Spanish fiction.
This is a long-term freelance position for suitable candidates to work from home. |
| Requirements: | Requirements:
• Read through original material and edit for accuracy in Spanish. • Use specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used • proficient in Word • Work closely with Managing Editor • Provide a grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text, as a word-processed document • Must be fluent in English and target language • Excellent writing skills and command of grammar • Attention to detail combined with the ability to meet deadlines • Self-motivated If you are selected, you will be required to complete one mandatory translation test. |
