Title: Marketing and Publicity Assistant
Description: Amplify Publishing Group (APG) is a leader in the hybrid publishing space with more than twenty years of experience acquiring, producing, marketing, and distributing books. Passionate about ideas and voices that need to be heard, APG is known for launching nonfiction books that start engaging and timely conversations.

We’re seeking an assistant to support and work closely with our in-house marketing and publicity team. This position will offer candidates the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of launching new titles and to collaborate with both authors and experienced marketers and publicists.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide general administrative support to APG’s marketing team, including taking notes and conducting research, facilitating submissions to trade publications and awards, maintaining databases and internal organization, and other related department tasks
- Draft select press materials for upcoming releases, including press releases, media and retail pitches, and social media copy
- Work collaboratively and directly with select APG authors to develop and execute book launch plans for titles across genres
- Conduct targeted outreach on behalf of authors and company in support of the release of upcoming titles
- Manage strategic advertising campaigns on Amazon and Meta Business Suite
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field required
- 1–2 years of client management experience preferred
- 1–2 years of book marketing and/or publicity experience a strong plus
- Candidate should have excellent copywriting and editing skills
- Candidate must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and collaborative
- Candidate should be able to prioritize competing tasks, maintain deadlines, and handle high priority deadlines as they arise
- Familiarity with and activity on social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn a plus
