Description: Neuwirth & Associates, a design and book production studio, seeks a highly motivated intern for May-August 2018. Duties include proofreading, checking and compiling corrections, trafficking materials, monitoring and updating files and records, and requesting printing estimates, as well as basic administrative responsibilities such as copying and filing. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be helpful. Interns have a great opportunity to learn about all aspects of the book publishing industry, as well as work with a wide range of subjects.
Requirements: Must possess college-level understanding and use of English language, be detail-oriented, well-organized and able to work under pressure. Proofreading and copy-editing skills would be a plus.
Location: New York, NY
Payment: Local transportation costs.
